Übersicht eMule Mod-Versionen
Da hier immer mal wieder Fragen zu eMule Mod-Versionen auftauchen, habe ich euch mal eine Übersicht zusammengestellt. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Außwahl von mir, es gibt natürlich noch zig versionen mehr, dies wüde aber wohl diesen thread sprengen die Features sind in Englisch, wird aber wohl jeder soweit verstehn.Mehr Versionen und auch noch mehr Infos zu den Features findet ihr unter www.emule-mods.de
1. eMule Xtreme  Die neue Xtreme Version 4.8 geht einen neuen Schritt in Richtung Fairness und bekämpft als erster Mod das sog. Overheadleeching. Overheadleeching bedeutet nichts anderes, als daß man mit viel zu vielen Quellen arbeitet. Umso mehr Quellen man hat, umso mehr steigt der Overhead. Irgendwann ist der Breakpoint erreicht und man hat kaum noch Bandbreite für den eigentlichen Datenupload übrig. Der Xtreme begrenzt die maximal gefunden Quellen auf ein vernüftiges Maximum, so daß auch ein emule-Laie keine groben Fehler mehr machen kann. Bei 10 kb Uploadlimit wären maximal 4000 Quellen erlaubt. Daneben kommt die neue Version mit noch vielen neuen Features wie z.B. dem source-cache aber auch etlichen Bugfixes. Der Xtreme ist wohl im Moment der beste und schnellste Mod!  4,5/5 SternenMain Features:
Download: HIER ================================================== ================ eMule Ionix  Guter Mod der sehr stabil läuft und auch sehr gute Downloadraten liefert das einzige Problem ist am Ionix ist folgender Fehler: Nach einer unbestimmten Zeit (manchmal nur Stunden, manchmal erst nach Tagen) läuft Kad als firewalled und bei einer neuen Serververbindung gibt es nur noch lowids, und dann bricht der download ziemlich ein. Ein eMule-Neustart behebt das Problem bis zum nächsten Mal. Ohne dieses Problem sicherlich mit dem Extrem gleichzusetzen, von der Geschwindigkeit her. Nach anfänglichen Superwerten, hat er sich jetzt im "normalen" Bereich eingependelt. Naja, könnte auch an den files liegen, die ich im mom sauge. Beim Angel scheint es wohl schon ehr gelungen zu sein.Er zeichnet sich durch eine sehr gute Quellenfindung bei seltenen Files und eine geringe CPU Auslastung aus.
